Spent the entire morning messing with the backend of this site because I couldn’t stand the layout anymore. I just want things to look simple. The modern web is entirely too loud. Give me a clean layout and some basic CSS over these crazy flashy templates any day. It got me feeling super nostalgic, so I actually logged into one of my old Buffy roleplay forums. I haven’t actively written on there in months, but Jon and I used to spend hours doing it back in the day. I didn’t post anything, just lurked and read some old threads. It’s crazy how much of my life is tied up in that show and the WB era in general. Charmed, Sabrina, Party of Five… that was my whole comfort zone. I was tweaking some of the category pages here and just listening to a 90s playlist, trying to channel that old energy. The site should be running a bit smoother now, let me know if any of the image links are broken.
